Tucked away in the grounds of Silk Mill, we are just a couple of minute’s walk from Whitchurch town centre where you can find local shops, cafes, takeaways and pubs.
Our unique cottage has a sunny south facing aspect allowing each room to be filled with light. The entire cottage has been recently renovated to high standards and we’ve worked hard to think about every detail which we hope will make your stay as enjoyable as it can be.
The cottage is split over two floors accommodating a maximum of 4 people. On the ground floor you’ll find the lounge, dining room, fully fitted kitchen, utility with washing machine and bathroom with walk-in shower.
The comfortable, cosy lounge, with its inviting sofas, provides for a relaxed ambiance, while the dining room can double as a study and features a convenient under stairs bureau.
The cottage benefits from high-speed broadband with Wi-Fi available throughout and a selection of books for you to peruse. Feel free to login to your favourite streaming services via our smart TV and enjoy content as if you were in your own home. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes everything you’ll need to prepare meals comfortably during your stay.
On the first floor you’ll find two bedrooms. The Master Bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed, solid oak furniture and from the window has a view of the duck pond. The smaller second bedroom features two single beds, an oak chest of drawers, and has a wonderful view of the Silk Mill. Both rooms benefit from luxury bedding and hypo-allergenic pillows.
The front of the cottage is framed simply with roses and box hedging. To the rear of the property lays a private courtyard garden, perfect for alfresco dining. A parking space is provided adjacent to the cottage with additional free parking less than a minutes walk away.
